As beautiful as the country side is; this is not the reason to seek treatment in Costa Rica!
As nice as the beaches are, as interesting as the volcanoes are, as varied as the wildlife and birds are, none of these are the reasons to pick Costa Rica for treatment!
As great as the fishing is, this is not the reason!
Even the friendly people, nor is the wonderful varied climate or the mountains a reason to come here for treatment!

Costa Rica is a member of the IC & RC, ensuring addiction professionals meet standards comparable to those in the US and many foreign jurisdictions.
The cost for treatment at Costa Rica Recovery is far lower than for comparable programs found in the US and Canada. Three months of treatment at Costa Rica Recovery is less than the cost for two weeks of treatment in the US, yet most use the same model of treatment (Minnesota Model). We have emotional support available outside our program for persons of varied backgrounds. Persons from 36 different countries have attended our program.
Costa Rica is politically stable, and has a large number of English speaking persons at every level of society.
Costa Rica is a tourist destination for people from all over the world. All foreigners are welcome, but especially those from North America.
Airline travel to Costa Rica is easy with direct flights to many US cities.
You do not need a visa to travel here from North America; just a valid passport with six months remaining before expiration.
Costa Rica uses the US dollar as a second tier currency. Dollars are convertible to the local currency almost everywhere. There is no currency black market. The economy is one of the most stable in Latin America. Of course those who are not addicted are also welcome and as you can see, there are MANY reasons to visit Costa Rica!
